When a boy from Halloween Ville crosses into the forbidden land of Day of the Dead Town in hopes of seeing his recently departed grandfather one last time, he sets off a magical adventure that could reunite two rival towns and save their most beloved holidays.

After sneaking into the rival Day of the Dead Town in hopes of seeing one more time his late grandfather, Pumpkid, a timid boy from Halloween Ville, meets Bony Lu, a free-spirited Catrina girl who shows him a world unlike anything he imagined. But when their town´s holiday candies vanish overnight, the two must embark on an epic journey to recover them, face an ancient threat, and prove that even the most different traditions can come together to reunite their divided towns once and for all.
